Soil Testing Technician

Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with tools? Join our team as a Soil Testing Technician, where you’ll play a key role in preparing and testing soil samples for critical engineering and environmental projects.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare soil samples for laboratory testing.
- Compact soil into cylinders in preparation for testing and analysis.
- Perform moisture content tests using the oven-dry method.
- Conduct thermal resistivity testing of soil.
- Clean and maintain testing equipment for ongoing operations.
- Travel to remote work sites to perform on-site testing (typically a few days and interstate).
- Calculate and record test results accurately.
What We’re Looking For
- Someone who enjoys manual work and is confident using hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel interstate for field assignments.
- An Australian driver’s licence, physical fitness and a willingness to travel are essential.
