Ergon Energy Thermal Survey

As part of the Ergon Energy 66kV circuit upgrade to Glenella Substation in Mackay QLD, Geotherm performed a thermal survey on the proposed cable route.

The project involved mobilisation to Mackay and the excavation of 10 test pits, most along the freight rail corridor.

In-situ testing was performed at each location and samples were collected.

The samples were seal and packaged to prevent moisture loss and sample disruption, then returned to the Silverwater laboratory where dry-out curves and soil analysis were undertaken.
