Transgrid Feeder 42

Geotherm undertook all the quality control thermal resistivity testing of the 14:1 stabilised sand backfill material used for the ‘Circuit 42’ project - 26 kilometres of 330kV dual circuit. These samples were collected and tested every 100linal meters.

In addition, Geotherm regularly tested the existing bedding material (14:1) on the existing 330kV circuit, ‘circuit 41’.
